A Tribute to Comedy

With all of due respect to any or all comedians everywhere, the maximum comedians in recent history are not along with us, with the exception of Jerry Lewis at this moment. Comedy today is different than it absolutely was yesteryear. Many comedians today ought to stretch to date they will use language that ought to not be utilized in public. Yesterday's comedians weren't required to head for that, we were holding just naturally funny. Prior to advent of film and radio, there were probably comedians which were laugh your mind off funny, but we will never learn about. While they were in silent films, we all know that Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, Roscoe "Fatty "Arbuckle, and Buster Keaton were the most notable comedians with their day. We could watch a lot of the old films and laugh since it was really funny.

We owe it to ourselves and future generations to hold the laughter alive, along with the memories from the funniest of the funniest. Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin were the superior entertainers of the day whenever they had people receding with their chairs. And talking about Martin and Lewis, what actually transpired to all in the great comedy teams? Unfortunately, there isn't any more comedy teams around. It's my hope and wish that parents across this country are telling their kids about Abbott and Costello. All of the young baseball players should at the very least learn about "Who's on First?" These Stooges will not go out of style. Does anyone remember the Curly shuffle? (Please Google this right now, and I dare you not to have a wide smile.) When I was growing up, everyone knew who Laurel and Hardy were, but they were before time. How many customers be familiar with this classic comedy team, and yet another fine mess they were into. Watch them on YouTube, these are hysterical.

Wheeler and Woolsey were another comedy team, less well known, but worth many laughs. The Marx Brothers were a comedy team which was unique, as much as these folks were funny. Harpo was one of several funniest people ever, and don't spoke anything. He was obviously a simpleton who seemed brilliant. Groucho is a character who I do think will not go out of style. Together, they were amazing. Burns and Allen are not merely a great comedy team; these folks were also a loving wife and husband. George Burns and Gracie Allen may not share precisely the same last name, nonetheless they shared a love for each other that's legendary. Lucy and Ricky were the couple we loved to view on I Love Lucy, but Lucy and Ethel were the comedy duo that have the laugh meter sounding the charts. With that said, Lucille Ball is, and try to would be the funniest female comedian of all time.

There has been a few who make us laugh, and below are a few more: Milton Berle, Red Skelton, Woody Allen, and Bob Hope. For many of us, the small Rascals would be a portion of our childhood. Most people do not know it's filmed on a single studio lot as Laurel and Hardy. I still love watching the old "Blondie" movies. Joe E. Brown a great title for his autobiography, Laughter is an excellent Thing."
